Cuyo: it is the zone located in the center west of Argentina, formed by the provinces of Mendoza, San Juan and San Luis. Leaving Santiago de Chile, you cross the Andes mountain range to arrive. Near Mendoza there are several campsites in tune with the pre-cordillera environment where you can leave the camper and go explore the city.
The route by zones
Mendoza and the wine route
We are in an expert wine area. There are about 1,700 km where you can go through the Rural Winery and continue along the RN7 to know the Puente del Inca and Cristo Redentor. Other stops will be San Rafael, Bianchi Chamañera and the Ischigualasto Provincial Park.
San Luis
San Luis is a place of rest, with a great nature where it highlights the most important tourist center, the Villa de Merlo, and the Sierra de las Quijadas National Park.

San Juan
San Juan, for its part, is known for its wine production. And like the whole area, it has important natural attractions such as the Sanjuaninos Penitentes, horse riding through the Andes Mountains and the Ischigualasto Provincial Park –also known as Valle de la Luna–. It is also an attraction for adventure tourism, such as windsurfing at the Cuesta del Viento dike.

From Potrerillos to Córdoba
In a tour of less wine and more of outdoor life you can visit Chacras de Coria, Valle de Uco, Potrerillos –where you can take advantage of rafting adventures–, Barreal, El Leoncito National Park and the Sierras de las Quijadas, an interesting area to visit. On the way back an excellent place to stop is Uspallata. During this trip, it will also be a good opportunity to get to know Córdoba. The area has good roads and highways.
