There is a lot to travel in this region of the country. In the most "north of the southern zone" you can start with places like Bariloche, San Martin de los Andes and by the RN234 route, follow numerous lakes such as El Correntoso and El Espejo, until you reach Villa La Angostura, a tour of 110 km.
The route by zones
Chubut and the Atlantic coast
A little further south is Chubut and its coastline that offers a wide variety of species, such as penguins, sea lions and whales, as well as various outdoor circuits for trekking, canoeing, rafting and paragliding.
La Pampa and Neuquén
For those who want to know the province of La Pampa, it is recommended to enjoy its thermal waters and ecotourism in the Parque Luro Reserve and the Lihué Calel National Park. In Neuquén, you'll find mountains and volcanoes, parks and outdoor life.
El Chaltén and the Perito Moreno
If you want to go further south, there is El Chaltén and as we continue along the RN40 to Calafate, you will see Perito Moreno, in the Glaciers National Park. From there you can continue for about 600 km to Puerto Natales, in Chile, to explore Torres del Paine National Park.
Ushuaia, the end of the world
If you dare to drive to the end of the world, we invite you to continue to Ushuaia. It is worth it. Surrounded by the Marital mountain range and the Beagle Channel, it is the southernmost city and has incredible surroundings to travel by camper, with unforgettable landscapes. Discover its rivers, lakes such as the Laguna del Diablo, small and surrounded by forests, where you can practice ice skating, or Lake Fagnano, which you can reach by traveling from Ushuaia about 90 km along the National Route No. 3. The area is surrounded by beautiful glaciers that will leave you speechless.
