Holiday Rent RV at the Chilean, National Rodeo Championship.

On the weekend of October 8th, 2021 we were present at the 72nd National Rodeo Championship, which took place in the “Monumental Medialuna” in Rancagua.

Rodeo is a typical Chilean equestrian sport based on speed and contact, in which some riders take part on Chilean horses. You have to drive and contain a young ox three times in a row, on two quilted fields within a crescent moon.

A great interest in our campers was generated among the visitors and participants of the event, as they got to know them and discovered that it is possible to travel comfortably and freely in them.

Holiday Rent RV published in ´AutoBild Reisemobil´

Last year 2019 photographer and journalist Thomas Ruddies, who writes for the magazine “AutoBild Reisemobil”, was on the road in Chile with our campers. First he was traveling in the south and experienced the beauty of the Torres del Paine and the many other national parks in this region. Then we went north into the Atacama Desert, the other extreme of what Chile has to offer. This trip resulted in a great article that was published in the 5th edition 2020 in the “AutoBild Reisemobil” magazine. The pictures of this trip have become unique and reflect the immense beauty of Chile. We are happy to share the pictures with you and also the article (unfortunately this is only in German). Chile wins the prize “Best Green Destination in the World”

For the first time since the World Travel Awards were delivered, Chile was awarded as the best green destination in the world.

Happy customers with the eclipse of 2019/07/02

More than 300 thousand tourists came to the Coquimbo Region, in Chile, to witness the historic total solar eclipse on July 2 of this year

Tourism promotional event Chile - Brazil

With the aim of diversifying the destinations of Chile in the Brazilian market, the Chilean Under-Secretariat of Tourism, the National Tourism Service of Chile (SERNATUR), the Federation of Tourism Companies of Chile (FEDETUR) and LATAM Airlines held a meeting with tour operators from Brazil called "PRAZER - CHILE 2019".

The event was held at the end of May. It consisted of a series of tours through Chile where more than 20 Brazilian tourism companies learned about the majestic landscapes of the south of the country, the modernity of Santiago and the magic of the indigenous peoples of the North.

This initiative seeks to enhance tourism experiences linked to nature, outdoor, astrotourism, wine tourism, gastronomy and cultural heritage, which can be done in Chile. This, in addition to generating new business networks between both countries.

Committed to inclusive trekking

We are proud to tell you that Holiday Rent RV joined the wonderful inclusive hiking project that takes place in the Altos de Lircay National Reserve, promoted by the Trekkingchile Foundation.

On this occasion, our company together with others from the tourism industry, made the donation of a unicycle, a vehicle adapted for the displacement and enjoyment of visitors in situations of disability and reduced mobility.

Total success at the ITB Fair in Berlin!

Thousands of companies from all over the world came to Berlin, Germany, to attend the most important tourist fair, where the aim was to show the whole audience and the great tourism agencies of Europe, the wonders of Chile, its variety of offers and landscapes to discover.

The event took place between March 6 and 10, and during the event, Holiday Rent RV achieved its main objective, which was to achieve greater closeness with its European partners, in addition to generating new contacts in general.

During the fair, our representatives of Holiday Rent RV held dozens of meetings with agencies with which they already work, and also with new ones that seek to expand their offer to South America. Team Building Holiday Rent RV

In September 2018 we went with Holiday Rent RV on expedition, this time to Patagonia. We wanted to live the experience of our clients and all aspects of traveling by camper. We can say this trip was a great experience and success: we enjoyed nature, its flora and fauna, wild camped and so on. Also we had to deal with unforseen circumstances that happen on the way like we got stuck in the snow, had to use 4x4 for multiple routes and needed to replace a broken tire.

As if it was not enough we also conducted several tests related to teambuilding and our work. We drove blindfolded over a bridge, trusting a colleague who was giving the directions. We caught fish and did some shooting exercises and practised how to survive in nature. It was a trip to remember for a long time, where we got to know each other better as a team but above all the great experience of traveling by camper and explore our beautiful country Chile.

Chile has incomparable nature with an infinity of landscapes and destinations on offer, which we definitely recommend you visit at least once in your lifetime.

More than 250.000 tourists will arrive in northern Chile to see the solar eclipse

Since 400 years that one of these dazzling events of nature doesn’t happen in the Chilean north, but next 2nd of July 2019 you will have the opportunity to see it for yourself. It is a total eclipse of the sun, an event that occurs only when the moon passes in front of the sun, blocking all light.

The eclipse will be developed in the Elqui Valley and will start after 4:30 pm, turning day into night in the Chilean desert.
